Why Staging
The modern home buyer has drastically changed the face of the real estate world. With the introduction of technology, the online buyer has increased direct accessibility to many more products and an extensive personal introduction to each home. So, as buyers are armed with such choice and accessibility, it becomes increasingly important that your home captures the attention of agents and buyers from the onset. Staged homes immediately top the "Must See Now" list as they are recognized through the still photos and virtual tour as attractive and move-in-ready.
This initial impression then carries through to the physical viewing of the property. Buyers know what they like when they see it. But they have to see it! It is difficult to visualize the use of a space when it is empty, and spaces obstructed by clutter or poorly decorated are distracting. Staging removes the barriers and distractions, appealing to all a buyers' senses and creating the lifestyle they are searching for. You will know as buyers meander through your home, that your property has made it to the buyers "Must Have" list.
Bottom line: Properly staged homes will result in an urgency to see your home and often competition amongst buyers to purchase your home. For you, the seller, this translates into a faster sale and at higher sale price.
